“Formed in 1887 Up to 5 years ago just had a vets team but now have 3 teams thanks to Chairman Graham Haddock and Denis Driscoll we now have 2 Sat teams, one in The SAL and a Vets team playing friendlies and are in the AFA and VFA Cups. We also have a very successful Sunday team playing in The Review Sunday League who won a League & Cup double last season and reached the final of The Middx Vets Cup. Managed by Bob Huff the Sunday team have proved to be a good addition to the club. The Sat teams play at Old Owens in Potters Bar and the Sunday team at Welham Green in Hertfordshire. Whilst some Grassroots teams are in decline Tansley appear to be the exception.”
